Get involved
Would you like to contribute to the taxi sector in Alicante?
Whoever you are, if you have something to contribute and think it might be of interest to the readers of InfoTaxi Alicante, you can propose an article, column, personal experience, or content related to the taxi sector in Alicante.
Participation is voluntary and unpaid. There is no remuneration, financial compensation, or consideration of any kind for submitting or, where appropriate, publishing an article.
Participation is restricted to individuals aged 18 and over.
If you would like to participate, the procedure is as follows:
1. Request to participate
Before submitting any article, please write to:
colaboraciones@infotaxialicante.es
In your email, you must state that you wish to participate on the website and confirm that you have read and understood the conditions of this “Get Involved” section.
Articles sent directly without following this procedure will not be accepted.
If you have any questions about the participation process, you can ask them at that same email address.
2. Wait for a response
Once your request is received, the website will reply to you by email.
The response may not be immediate, as InfoTaxi Alicante is an independently run project with limited resources, but all requests will receive a response.
In that response, you will receive the necessary instructions to proceed with the process, along with a link to the corresponding form.
3. Complete the form and submit your proposal
The form will only request the necessary details to manage your participation and the corresponding authorizations.
Generally, the following will be requested:
- First and last name.
- Email address.
- Alias or screen name under which you wish to appear publicly, if you prefer to use one other than your real name.
Once the form is completed, you must reply within the same email thread and attach:
- The proposed article or text.
- A single image to accompany it (optional).
The text can be sent in a standard format that allows reading and editing. If a specific format is required, it will be indicated in the corresponding response.
4. Content requirements
Texts must be original, created by the submitter, and directly related to the taxi sector in Alicante.
Submitting an article does not guarantee that it will be published.
The decision to publish rests exclusively with the website editor. Particular value will be placed on content that is of interest to our readers.
We will not publish content that, in the editor’s judgment, includes insults, harassment, threats, personal attacks, unfounded accusations, overtly offensive material, or any other content incompatible with the respectful tone required for participation.
The editor may reject any proposal deemed unsuitable for the website, without any obligation to provide editorial justification for such a decision.
5. Regarding images
Each published article may be accompanied by a maximum of one image, which must be free to use or supported by authorization, a license, or any other title permitting its publication.
Where applicable, credit to the author will be given.
The contributor must hold the necessary rights or permissions to propose its publication and is responsible for ensuring they are authorized to do so.
If there are reasonable doubts regarding its origin, authorship, license, or usage rights, InfoTaxi Alicante may discard it and replace it with another image selected by the editor.
Submitting an image does not obligate the website to use it.
6. Evaluation and editing
Once the article is received, InfoTaxi Alicante will review it and decide whether it is suitable for publication.
There is no obligation to publish received texts, even if they formally meet all requirements.
If the article is deemed of interest to readers, an editing process will begin aimed exclusively at improving its layout and clarity. This process may include, among other adjustments:
- Spelling and grammar corrections.
- Reordering or structuring ideas.
- Writing enhancements.
- Formatting adjustments.
- Necessary adaptations for proper presentation on the website.
- Enhancements aimed at improving clarity and search engine optimization (SEO).
Editing does not mean that the website acquires authorship of the text or its intellectual property rights.
7. Final authorization to publish
Once the editing process is complete, you will receive the edited text—and, where applicable, the accompanying image—in the same email thread.
At that point, you will be able to review the final result.
The article will only be published upon your explicit, unequivocal consent to publish the final version sent to you.
Using the same email thread throughout the process ensures full traceability of communications and granted authorizations.
If you do not authorize publication, the content will not be published.
8. Authorship and publishing name
The article will remain the property of its author.
InfoTaxi Alicante does not acquire ownership or exclusive assignment of copyright over the content.
The authorization granted is strictly limited to allowing the website to publish the version expressly authorized in the process described above.
The article may be published under either of the following formats:
- The author’s full name.
- An alias or pseudonym chosen by the author.
This choice will be made during the participation process.
9. Removal of a published article
The author may request the removal of a published text by writing to:
colaboraciones@infotaxialicante.es
Once the request is received and verified, the article will be removed from the website.
Removal does not automatically delete all records or communications related to your participation where a legal obligation exists to retain them for a specific period. Information regarding the processing and retention of personal data can be found in the website’s Privacy policy.
10. Participation based on respect
InfoTaxi Alicante aims to be an open space for different voices and viewpoints, but participation does not grant free rein to publish any content.
The fundamental criteria will be that the contribution is interesting, respectful, and brings value to the reader.
The editor reserves the right not to publish, edit, or reject any content that does not meet these criteria.
Participating in this space means voluntarily submitting content with the possibility of publication, but it never constitutes a commitment on the part of InfoTaxi Alicante to publish it.
